Nautilus Shell Symbol

Why the Nautilus shell symbol for Win-More & Prosper?

I was born in the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus and have always been fascinated by the sea and the seashells. I’ve always collected seashells and even painted the Nautilus shell in 1998, not aware at the time, of the fact that later on I’d select its image to represent Win-More and Prosper.

When I was searching for a symbol for Win-More & Prosper, I considered many ideas but without really feeling that I had found the right symbol.  Then, one day, when I was reading a book called Thick Face, Black Heart, written by Chin-Ning Chu, I realized that the seashell symbol was what I was searching for all along.  In her book, Chin-Ning Chu was defining wealth in Chinese language saying that wealth is symbolized by two Chinese characters, first one which is a seashell meaning trade, and the other, the character for brilliance, or unique talents of an individual.  So, literally explained, wealth is the result of selling ones own brilliance, unique talents.  I thought to myself, what a beautiful way to explain the true wealth of a person.  So, I decided on the seashell symbol to represent Win-More and Prosper.

And, which seashell better than the Nautilus shell to explain the inner beauty, brilliance and gifts of an individual?!!

The Nautilus shell, lined with mother-of-pearl, grows into increasingly larger chambers throughout its life and so has become a symbol for expansion and renewal. The chambers of the Nautilus shell are symbolic of the stages each individual passes through life.  We are not the same person today as we were 10 or 20 years ago. We change, we get transformed and we renew ourselves over time, just like the Nautilus shell that grows new chambers.

The Nautilus shell inspires us toward increased awareness of the innate potential pervading all life, and to embrace concepts of balance, evolution, and well-being in the world in which we live.  It represents inner harmony just like the one we feel when we act as our authentic selves expressing our uniqueness, our true selves.
